The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Kolcraft Enterprises Inc., of Chicago, Ill. announced a voluntary recall of about 46,000 Kolcraft Tender Vibes & Light Vibes bassinets.
The latches that attach the bassinet base onto the metal frame can appear to be locked in place but still remain unlocked. This allows the bassinet to become detached from the metal frame, causing the bassinet to fall and the infant to be injured.
If you use this bassinet or know someone who use it too, please read the full article for the safe of your babies.
I invite you to join me and follow my blog , this way you will be up to date regarding all baby’s product recalls.
I would like to dedicate this article to all of the women who became mothers lately.
This year you will celebrate your first mother’s day and I hope for many years to come.
Being a new mom means you have to care for someone other than yourself but it doesn’t mean you don’t have to care for yourself.
I have collected a few tips that will help you cope with the first months of being a mom:
Take time for yourself – At first you will be busy with learning the basic care of your baby so it is normal that you won’t have time but after you get a master try to take time for yourself doing the things that you enjoyed before you became a mom.
Ask for help – You are not superwoman and you are just recovering from labor. Do not expect to do all by your own! Ask for help.
Rest as much as you can– Try to rest or sleep whenever your baby sleeps. All other things will wait for you!
Do not worry your baby will admire you because you are his mom!!!
For this special Mother’s Day I baked healthy date cookies ( with butter, are they healthy? No, but they are sure yummy!!)
Try to implement one of my tips, take time for yourself , do whatever you love or join me for coffee.
If you are after delivery I suggest you also read more tips that will help you recover more quickly and feel more calmer.
Tell me what helped you through first months of being a mom?

Recently I started to design custom bottle labels for baby shower.
Since bottle shapes and sizes vary throughout the United States I designed labels that will fit two standard size water bottles.
Following these easy steps will help you choose the right size for your bottle:
Cut two pieces of paper : 2″ H x 7 4/8″ W (small) and 2 1/8″ H x 8″ W (large).
Wrap the pieces around the bottles of your choice and use those that look best with the label size.
The label ends may overlap or have a small gap between them, either way is fine.
The label below, created in PowerPoint and inspired by a picture of row of ducks, is my recent design for a duck baby shower. Blues and yellows have been chosen to suit a baby boy shower and pink and green for a baby girl.
