The First Day of your Mother’s Day

Hello moms,

I would like to dedicate this article to all of the women who became mothers lately.

This year you will celebrate your first mother’s day and I hope for many years to come.

Being a new mom means you have to care for someone other than yourself but it doesn’t mean you don’t have to care for yourself.

I have collected a few tips that will help you cope with the first months of being a mom:

  • Take time for yourself – At first you will be busy with learning the basic care of your baby so it is normal that you won’t have time but after you get a master try to take time for yourself doing the things that you enjoyed before you became a mom.
  • Ask for help – You are not superwoman and you are just recovering from labor. Do not expect to do all by your own! Ask for help.
  • Rest as much as you can– Try to rest or sleep whenever your baby sleeps. All other things will wait for you!
  • Do not worry your baby will admire you because you are his mom!!!

For this special Mother’s Day I baked healthy date cookies ( with butter, are they healthy? No, but they are sure yummy!!)

Try to implement one of my tips, take time for yourself , do whatever you love or join me for coffee.

If you are after delivery I suggest you also read more tips that will help you recover more quickly and feel more calmer.

Tell me what helped you through first months of being a mom?
